A total of 4 fields are multipurpose, easily used for virtually any fun activity. There are 6 baseball and 4 softball fields available. Guests can also make use of 6 volleyball courts. Parents with younger kids will appreciate the availability of Frisbee areas.

The park is one of the top destinations for Huntsville residents who like to get out and enjoy nature. It features a walking trail that spans 3 miles, with plans for future expansion. Leashed dogs are allowed, making it a favorite choice for pet owners. Walkers and joggers can safely use this area without having any concerns about traffic. You are also allowed to roller skate or bike here if you prefer.
Hays Nature Preserve

Hays Nature Preserve is part of the North Alabama Birding Trail and sees both amateur and seasoned birders all year long. A total of 10 miles of trails makes it easier for visitors to experience nature up close. There are maps to the nature trails that make it easier for visitors to find all of the key birding areas. Fishing is also available in this park. A picnic area and restrooms make it easier for anyone to enjoy a full day here.

This sportsplex is a city favorite because of its facilities that are perfect for an outing. There are 6 softball fields available that are perfect for organized teams or informal games at a party or other gathering. A pavilion is available for picnics and kids have access to a playground.
