It’s the season for changing colors outside, cooler weather and everything pumpkins, Halloween and thanksgiving ahead. Huntsville has some great spots to see during this time of year from the Madison County Nature Trail to the Big Spring Park Red Bridge.

There are some beautiful sights to enjoy and you may even want to capture your picture while you’re at it. When you’re stopping by all of the perfect spots in Huntsville to capture everything that is fall, check out these spots in the city to snap a selfie and show everyone you love that you made it all of the top spots.

    Huntsville Botanical Garden

An easy play to start would be the Huntsville Botanical Garden. You’ll find a huge, oversized Adirondack chair and a scarecrow that are perfect spots to take your first fall selfie.

    Monte Sano State Park

After that, make your way to the Monte Sano State Park. You’ll want to grab a selfie in the park at the Japanese Garden or out on a trail hike because the whole park makes for the best backdrop for a fall selfie. Grab a scenic overlook to show the changing leaves in the background.

    Big Spring Park Red Bridge

The red bridge at Big Spring is a great place to go next. The red bridge is perfect for selfies because it makes a great anchor point and it fits the colors of this time of year.

    Madison County Nature Trail

Stop by the covered bridge for one of the most perfect selfie photo stops in the county. Then go to the boat dock for another one.

    Burritt on the Mountain

For a great scenic overlook with beautiful log cabins, check out Burritt on the mountain. It looks even better if you have a little bit of mist or fog that day!

Lastly, check out Ditto Landing where you’ll grab a selfie in front of the water. These are the perfect fall spots to celebrate you and nature all in in one.
