The Yellow Hammer Brewery of Huntsville is a local favorite since 2010. It opened up in downtown to provide the community with high quality beer that have a Southern, Belgian and German influence. The brewery is located at 2406 Clinton Avenue West in Huntsville featuring a Biergarten and tasting room open to the public. Check them out Monday through Thursday from 4pm to 9pm, Friday from 4pm to 10pm and Saturday from 2pm to 10pm. The brewery features 20 difference beers on rotation with a steady stream of year-round classics like the Belgian White, IPA and Lost Highway.
The brewery began in 2010 when four guys wanted to get in on the craft brewing game in Alabama and had a passion for beer. They decided to create a brewery that builds from Belgian and German traditions with handcrafted European styles and an influence from the South. What to Expect
Visit the tasting room all week to try this unique beer and enjoy music, events and food trucks. Try their year-round flagship ales and seasonal blends. There is usually a single-batch beer and special previews only in the tasting room. Pick up a t-shirt or souvenir as well.
