Booking your wedding in Mooresville means you will be able to take a step back and enjoy an antique-style wedding in one of the most historic churches in the area. With amazing Greek Revival architecture, this may just be the perfect place for your wedding.
The Brick Church
The brick church in Mooresville dates back to 1839 and provides tall, antique glass windows with quite amazing views. You will get to enjoy the peaceful green of the area, along with the simplicity of the church.
The church seats up to 120 people, which includes the bridal party. You can rent the church for just $1,000 with a refundable $250 deposit for cleaning and damage. All rental costs go to help support the preservation of the historic area of Mooresville.
Your Reception
After the ceremony, you will have a few great choices within the area for your reception including:
- 1818 Farms
- The Dance Hall
- Limestone Bay Trading Company
- Creekside Plantation
All four of these spots provide a great place to enjoy your reception.
If you don’t want to use the church for your Mooresville wedding, you can use 1818 Farms for both the wedding and the reception. This venue provides plenty of green-space and gardens for a ceremony and a reception. You will also be able to use the pole barn for seating and serving, along with rental tents, if necessary. You can even rent the garden house.
Creekside Plantation is another great choice for your wedding and/or reception. It bordered the Wheeler Wildlife Refuge and the Tennessee River. The plantation covers 18 acres and provides a unique choice for weddings and receptions.
Whether you rent the brick church or you use one of the other venues, a wedding in Mooresville is a great way to go. It’s a very historic area with plenty of charm perfect for your big day.
