Our Team Ranked #1 in Alabama

Thanks to our clients, we were recently ranked among the top 1,000 real estate teams in the nation. Here’s some information on that, as well as a market update.

I have some exciting news to share with you today.

A renowned national award ranking sponsored annually by Real Trends, as advertised in The Wall Street Journal, announced this past June that Amanda Howard Real Estate™ was ranked as the 30th top real estate team in America in the “Top 1,000 Real Estate Professionals.”

The 1,000 teams we are ranked among make up the top 1% of real estate professionals in the world, so being 30th in the top 1% is a huge deal. The second top team locally came in at 135.

In addition to this, Amanda Howard Real Estate™ was once again placed by Real Trends in the top list of “America’s Best Real Estate Agents.”

Our team was ranked on that list as No. 1 in the state of Alabama in the categories of Agent Team Sales Volume and Transaction Size.

These rankings couldn’t have been accomplished without your help. We want to extend our sincere thanks to our clients, supports, family, and friends. Serving our commCongratulations to our winners!unity has been a privilege.

As of July 6th, we’ve sold 402 homes since the beginning of 2017. This means that for our annual 400th home sale charity program, we donated over $6,000 across five local charities based on client votes.

Thanks to your support, we were able present these donations at our “Yappy Hour” summer client appreciation event. The event was amazing. It was so much fun spending time with our amazing supporters and their four-legged friends.

Moving on, let’s talk about the market. The numbers for June 2017 are in, and our north Alabama residential overall sales come to more than 720 homes—nearly a 5% increase from last year.

We’ve also seen an increase of 5.7% from last year’s sales price—shifting the number from $207,000 to $220,000.

Days on market, however, has fallen. The number for that currently is 75 days. So, combined with the other numbers we’ve looked at, it’s evident that we are still in a seller’s market.

Now is the time to sell. We saw a near 10% decrease in inventory, with it now being at about 3.7 months. This has created high demand for the homes that are available and puts sellers in a great positions.
