Huntsville Real Estate Market Update

Today, we’ll go over the market update for the month of October. As the holidays approach, this year’s real estate market continues in a positive direction!

According to the North Alabama MLS, Huntsville and Madison County residential sales totaled 466 units in October. That’s a 15% increase in sales compared to this time time last year. That’s great news for sellers.

Currently, we have 5 months of available inventory. This also shows the market is great for buyers, too, because of the wide selection available. Our average sales price is just over $193,000, which is a 1.5% increase over the average sales price last year. This proves that we’re returning to a stable market.
