Looking for something to do on Halloween in Rocket City? Here are some of Huntsville’s events:

Bootastic Burnout

If you like Halloween and a good workout join in on the Bootastic Burnout at Stovehouse with Burn Collective at 7 p.m. You will experience a vinyasa flow on the lawn at Stovehouse, with ghoulish treats and frightfully good discounts on retail back at the studio. Feel free to come in your best costume because prizes will be involved.

Halloween at Greene Street Market

Halloween at Greene Street will be an evening of old-fashioned fun. This will be the last weekly market of the season. Pumpkin painting for children, trick or treating, live music, a costume contest and local farmers,vendors and food trucks will be available from 3 p.m. to dark.

Stone Center Spooktacular

Join the Stone Center Spooktacular at Campus No. 805 this for a Halloween event designed for adults. There will be a DJ, games, drink specials and a costume contest. Cash prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, including Best Group Costume and Best Individual Costume.The free event begins at 7 p.m. Spooktacular is for adults 21 and older.

Spooky Space Spectacular

Spooky Space Spectacular is in its sixth year and will continue the tradition of science experiments, live entertainment by Dr. Osborne, simulators and sweet treats. Wear your best costume and get ready to have a spooky good time at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. The event is from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Admission is charged. 

Trick-or-treat at Downtown Huntsville Library

All three floors will be stocked with treats for children from 9 a.m. until closing.

Halloween Night at Humphrey’s Bar and Grill

Try Humphrey’s inspired cocktails or pumpkin beer and enjoy live music with Dave Anderson starting at 7 p.m. 

Bikes & Brews Halloween Ride

Gather in your best Halloween biking costume at Straight to Ale for Bikes & Brews Halloween Ride. Get there early for a pre-ride beer. The ride starts at 6 p.m. Enjoy a leisurely ride through Downtown Huntsville and Five Points neighborhoods. Riders will then board the Green Bus for a mid-ride beer. Leave about 7:15 p.m. for a spooky ride through the Dead Children’s playground then back to Straight to Ale Biergarten for the costume contest at 8 p.m. 

Monster Mash Halloween Bash

Join Yellowhammer Brewing in the Lost Highway Loungle from 8 p.m. to midnight. The night will be filled with classic horror movies and spooky tunes. Dress in your scariest costumes to win prizes. Bride of Frankenhammer 2019 will be on tap as well as other festive brews and cocktails. Russel the Magician performs from 8 to 10 p.m. 

“Muder at Skull Manor” murder mystery dinner

“Murder at Skull Manor” muder mystery dinner is at The Historic Lowry House. Seating will begin at 5:30 p.m. There will be finger-food, tea and water included with the ticket price. Alcoholic beverages will be available for sale, as well. All-ages friendly costumes are welcome. Tickets are available at historiclowryhouse.com. Prices for adults are $30, and $15 for children 15 and under. 

Hallows Eve Potluck

Mad Malts Brewing is hosting a Hallows Eve Potluck. Bring a dish to share and watch movies in the backyard. Costumes not required, but welcomed.

Whisky Bottom Saloon’s Halloween Night Celebration

Whisky Bottom Saloon’s Halloween party is offering a chance to win $1,500 for the best costume. The event is for ages 21 and up. Doors open at 7 p.m. 

Historical Boos Cruise

Grab a purple cup of your favorite adult beverage to bring on board as you pedal through dark alleys and empty streets to learn about Huntsville’s historic haunted past with Huntsville Ghost Walk. The pedal trolley makes several stops for ghost stories and cups of courage. The cruise is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Downtown Huntsville. Admission is charged. The cruise is for ages 21 and up.
