Kids to Love Foundation
We support Kids to Love Foundation – a local 501(3)(c) non-profit organization founded by Lee Marshall committed to helping find forever homes for foster children while providing education and career readiness training. We’ve attended and hosted events to help raise funds for both Kids to Love and their sister organization, Davidson Farms.
Davidson Farms is a privately funded 10,000 sq. ft. home nestled on 10 acres in Madison County. Davidson Farms opens the door for teen and tween girls to come home to a loving family with support & guidance while in the foster system. Davidson Farms provides food, clothing, and a loving home to help meet their physical and spiritual needs.
Amanda competed in ‘Stars Dancing for HEALS’ annual fundraising competition where she practice and learned a ballroom dancing routine to perform in front of hundreds of local spectators. While practicing for the big event, she held several fundraisers including Boston butt sales and wine tastings to raise money that went toward her final “votes” for the evening with a goal of $10,000 ($1 = 1 vote)!. The money went toward building and stocking supplies in additional clinics in local schools. HEALS, Inc (Health Establishments in Local Schools) is a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Huntsville, Alabama dedicated to providing accessible quality, school-based primary health care for children through collaborative efforts with the Huntsville City/Madison County school systems and the medical community. By providing on-site medical, dental, optometry care, and social services at our participating schools, HEALS, Inc. makes an immediate difference in the lives of many children.
